This is my sixth year as the social studies department chair for High Rock and Pollard. I work with our district's talented, kind, funny, and smart social studies teachers. My primary responsibilities include coaching, supervision, evaluation, and professional development. I am passionate about helping students grow as caring, curious, and critical thinkers.
In addition to this work, I teach multiple sections of Literacy for Learning at High Rock. I love teaching this class because of its collaborative, project-based approach to literacy. We read, discuss, create, share, and reflect together. I also love that I get to meet students in sixth grade and work with them as they continue through seventh and eighth grades.
I live in Natick with my husband and our newborn son, Noah. (He was born in January 2020.) We love to travel, cook, and spend time with our families.
