About

I was born and raised in Cuba, where I went to college and became an English language teacher. There, I taught English as a Foreign Language to middle and high school students for 10 years before coming to the United States.
Once here, I worked as a teaching assistant at Harvard High School in Harvard, Illinois for one year. After that, I started working as a teacher at Parkland Middle School, where I have been working ever since.
