I am an experienced English teacher skilled in data analysis, relationship building, collaborative leadership, and creative problem solving. I recently completed my Master of Arts focused in Educational Leadership from University of Northern Colorado.
A career educator, I began by teaching preschool while earning my Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Florida Atlantic University. Once I graduated, I worked as a high school English teacher, first, in a small Lutheran school and later, in a charter school in South Florida. When we moved to Colorado, I accepted this position teaching middle school English in 2013. My teaching license includes endorsements in Language Arts (7-12) and Elementary Education.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, son, and our two dogs. We love hiking and mountain biking all over this beautiful state!
