On Wednesday you will take a fill-in-the-blanks quiz from the first 50 pages. Read carefully. You do NOT have to memorize anything. But you should allow certain sentences to sort of jump out at you. Most students who read carefully do fine on these quizzes. They're not that hard, and they prove that you read...win/win.
