You have two big things to work on--in-class essays and reading/writing homework from The Road.

For the first half of class, please work on your Common App essays.  If you finish rough drafts, you may peer edit.  If anyone gets to the point where you're ready to type your final draft, let the sub know, and you can work in the computer lab.

For the second half of class, please work on the reading/writing assignment from The Road that is also posted in this section.  Read from pages 117-156 of The Road for Friday. You will have a blanks quiz. You also need  to write about the role that hope plays in this section; use at least three specific details from the book.
