Additional Info
You're on a scavenger hunt today. You can work in groups, but you need to make sure you're working. The advantage to working in groups is that you can you help lead each other to the articles/pages you might find most interesting.

Spend some time going through the PBS pages--there are a lot of good pages of information and thought there.

What you'll turn in:
1. A list of articles you read
2. The most interesting thing you read and why
3. Your response to the arguments made in either the Chicago Tribune article or the "Emmett Till painting" article.
4. Everybody has to read the attached document "Emmett Till Story"--it's the confession of the killers after they were acquitted. Do you think an article like this after the fact hurts or helps?
5. Answer this question: Who's more dangerous--the people who do the bad things? Or the people who stand by (metaphorically speaking) and let the bad things happen? Explain.
