--three pages containing your personal reaction to the book (like, didn't like, learned, appreciated, etc.), a strategy you saw Steinbeck use throughout the novel (apart from the alternating-chapters technique); one significant difference between analyzing non-fiction and analyzing fiction; a brief in-class writing. Each of these elements should be about a page.
