Use information from at least three of the sources to write a clear and well-developed essay that evaluates whether or not high schools should discontinue their football programs. Should they? Shouldn't they? Are their certain conditions you believe must be in place for one or the other? There is an opportunity here to make a "middle ground" argument, but it still has to be a definitive argument--you can't argue both sides. Be specific about what factors should be considered. Use the sources to develop your argument and explain the reasoning for it.

Avoid merely summarizing the sources. Indicate clearly which sources you are drawing from, whether through direct quotation, paraphrase, or summary. You may cite the source by using the author's name, or the name of the document.
