As you read chapters four and five, take notes on these three things: Conflict, power, and leadership.  Find evidence of current conflicts and evidence that points to future conflicts; identify current power struggles and possible future sources of power struggles; finally, use evidence from the book to argue what Golding might be saying about the concept of leadership. This will be due on Tuesday. You also have independent grammar study they can do. It's your choice what you do--you can work from the book or work on grammar the whole period, or you can split your time.
