Read the first chapter of A Thousand Splendid Suns. As you read, keep a two column list like you did with the Bradbury short story "All Summer in a Day." On one side of the column, write down details you might be important later or that stand out to you for any reason; on the other, write down any questions you have...these could be about the plot, the characters, anything you're not sure about...anything.
