The purpose of this assignment is to make sure that in all of our general writing about the books we're reading, we don't forget the specific focus we need to have on language and how it's used. Please be as direct and as detailed and as thoughtful as you can in responding to these questions. We'll work on them for 30 minutes today and 30 minutes Monday (if you need it).
