Annotate the article "99 and Still Working."  This will be more traditional annotation--simply make notes as you read.  Write on the text.  Ask questions. Respond to text that makes an impact on you. Identify strategies. Mark words or phrases that you find particularly moving or effective.  By the time you're done reading and annotating, be able to write about an overall strategy you see the author using and its ultimate effectiveness.  Consider your individual annotations the "dots," and when you're finished, see what picture the dots actually make.
