During your cover lesson, I would like you to start your two-week Artist Research assignment. You will be given this lesson, and another week of homework to complete this. It will count towards your end of topic grade for Portraits! 

There are two examples and a guide in Showbie - read the guide and decide whether you will be completing a digital or physical research in your sketchbook, either is fine! 

The due date for the Artist research is in the homework app, you must research your chosen Artist and ANALYSE the painting you used as inspiration for your self portrait photograph using the FORMAL ELEMENTS.
