I’m on a trip with Year 9 today, so I won’t see you until after half term!

In the lesson today, I would like you to….

1. Make sure your watercolour study is finished. Remember I want high quality, professional illustrations for your pop up book! You can than cut away the surrounding paper. 

2. Prep your book page. Using the vibrant watercolour, paint a base colour/design on a new double page in your book where your pop up book will be presented.

3. Design your M-Fold. There are some examples out in the classroom. This will be the pop up mechanism that allows your Chimera to pop out of the page that your Chimera will be stuck onto.

4. If you have time, AND YOUR BOOK PAGES ARE DRY, you can start writing your Chimera story from your homework into your book!

We will assemble the pop up book after half term, so please make sure you put all of the seperate pieces together inside your book at the end of the lesson!
