Project Details

Initial Proposal

2014-2015

Freshman Literature, Fall 2014

Date Due

Sept. 10, 2014

Additional Info
Due before the end of the period today, a lesson proposal that contains the following information:

  1. the name of your project manager
  2. the names of those in charge of technology
  3. the names of those in charge of art
  4. the names of those in charge of research
  5. a detailed description of what your group will be doing for your lesson

NOTE: Just because someone is "in charge" of something does not necessarily mean that that person (or those people) are the ONLY ones working on it.

Reminder of lesson requirements (a few additions have been made):
  1. A technology-based aspect (Google Presentation, Prezi, Slide Share, etc.)
  2. An artistic aspect (drawings, paintings, collages, an original song or poem, etc.) These should be used to enhance the lesson.
  3. Additional research. You must present more information than is found in your literature book. Make connections to other things. Find out where myths came from or why certain events are important in the story. Look up the culture of ancient Greece to give us a better idea of why people did the things they did.
  4. Examples of direct and indirect

    characterization (specifying which type)

  5. At least one addition to add to the hero chart
  6. Vocabulary word(s) in your section. Give word, definition, and a sentence/example
  7. Some sort of assessment. This could be a game or a quiz or a contest, anything that makes sure the class has learned what you wanted them to learn.
  8. Lesson MUST be between 15-17 minutes long.

**Due to the quality I am expecting and the inability of some group members to get together due to sports and other events, I have decided to move the lesson presentations to Monday in stead of Friday.
