Today we will be going to the AV room to check out books for this class. Times will be as follows:
1st Hour: leave at 8:11
4th Hour: leave at 12:06
5th Hour: leave at 1:24

Today you will also be doing some extended writing. As your teacher, I want to make sure that you can get the most out of this class and that you have been placed into a class in which you can feel comfortable and confident and can thrive.

You will be responding to one or more of the following questions:
  • Who are you as a student?
  • What mark(s) do you want to leave on Mountain View HS?
  • How do you want to be remembered, and what will you do in order to ensure that that happens?

How you set up your essay is up to you. How you interpret the prompt is up to you. The length is up to you.

Please keep in mind the following:
  • plan first
  • write legibly
  • write in pen

Reminder for Monday: If you have a smart phone, tablet, or other device, please bring it with you. We will be going to the library to sign up for various applications we will be using in this class.
