Additional Info
1. Q & A
This is your chance to ask me any questions you have about your paragraph. Let's share some thesis statements and get some advice!

2. Drafting
You should now start taking your notes and transferring your ideas to an outline. Remember that an outline is simply a way to organize your ideas. The only places that should have a complete sentence are your topic sentence and your concluding sentence.

Once you have completed an outline, use it to write your rough draft. This should be done on a clean sheet of paper. Remember that the goal is to write on two sides of a single piece of paper

3. Editing, if time
Go through your draft and check for the following:
  • Does your thesis statement contain literary elements (rather than talking about the characters as if they are making their own decisions)?
  • Are you introducing each idea and providing context for it?
  • Are you thoroughly analyzing each piece of evidence? Have you looked at it from all angles?
  • Are there transitions between each idea?
  • Are you using formal tone?
