You will receive a blank map of Ancient Egypt in class.   Step 1.) Label the following geographic features and places. Make sure to spell them correctly! (use pencil first, then outline in sharpie) Water label in BLACK Mediterranean Sea Red Sea Nile River Cataracts #1-6 (Numbers already marked on the map) Territories/Areas label in BLACK Nile Delta Syria Sinai Eastern Desert Western Desert Lower Egypt Upper Egypt Nubia Valley of the Kings Cities label in RED Alexandria Giza Memphis Cairo Thebes Step 2.) Shade/color your labeled map according to the geography (water = blue, fertile land = green, desert = yellow/brown) (even rivers should be traced over in blue) **Use the example map as a model Step 3.)
