Part 1

Select one artist from the presentation PPP4

the traffic light system will help to guide you as to the difficulty of the artists red being the most

Save the portrait of your chosen artist into the showbie folder PPP4. You can use the images in the presentation from class or you can pick a different portrait by the artist. BE WARNED make sure it is by the artist and not a copy cat painting, the internet is flooded with copies. Check the date matches up and use a reputable site such as the National Gallery etc.

Part 2

Take a photograph of yourself in the style of your artist. Consider the following: light, angle, viewpoint,
colour, clothes, props, environment. Look at the slides in PPP4 which show you excellent examples and some dos and don'ts. Upload your photograph in the Showbie folder PPP4.
Your final portrait will be a copy of this photo. You will be drawing this onto your canvas.
