Today, you will be developing a thesis statement (also known as your claim) as well as your introduction paragraph for your persuasive essay. Below are two assignments to complete.  1. Thesis Statement This document explains what a thesis statement is and how to develop one for a persuasive essay. Please read through the entire document! There is an EdPuzzle embedded within the document that you must complete. It further explains the importance of a strong thesis statement.  Once you have read through this document and completed the EdPuzzle, write your thesis statement in the box at the bottom of the doc.  2. Intro Paragraph This document explains how to structure an introduction paragraph for a persuasive essay. Please read through and complete the entire document! The bottom of this document asks you to state your thesis. Copy and paste the thesis statement you wrote on the other document!  If you do not finish both of these assignments, they are homework.
