Self study tasks to work through.

Task 1- Cover work folder in content library- match the properties- simply draw a line between the definition and the property. 

Task 2- Timbers folder- go to Cover work- Identifying Timbers- please so my example for what you need to do, you can copy this out of content and add it to your Timbers section. Using your knowledge from our first lesson and using the material properties information in task 1, have a go at identifying the specific timbers, stating whether it is a hardwood or a soft wood then consider what properties the material has and why it is suitable in that application. See my example. Complete all images. 

Task 3- Open L38-39 Social Footprint - read through the PowerPoint, answer Prep 38 at the end. Please answer the questions in your paper booklet (p12) and upload to the homework section for review.

Task 4- Extension - continue to read L39 on the 6R’s, I am sure you will have come across these terms before, they are hopefully really straight forward for you. Have a go at Prep 39 if you have time.
