Firstly we wanted to say how impressed we are with your efforts this term, keep going, you are nearly there 🤗💪 you nearly have 50% of your GCSE finished!

If anyone would like to come back after school I can do 4-4.45, then 5.10-5.45. I need to drop my eldest off at gym and then I can head back down. You will need to wait in the library whilst I am out of the workshop. I’ll come and get you on the way back.

We have training in the workshop today (Friday) so therefore you will be based in the CAD suite with Miss Karin. 

1. Miss Karin will walk you through the evaluation pages, it is important to note that as teachers we are not allowed to scaffold these pages for you (that would be seen as malpractice by AQA) but we have included rough details of what to include which will help you to get started. You should aim to evaluate in as much depth as possible providing justification and reasonings for choices. 

Your homework will be to set up these pages ready for after the half-term. I anticipate this may take 20 minutes. Please lay these out and I will check this on Tuesday. 

2. Please use lesson time to update coursework pages, you should be working on Manufacturing Specification and Manufacturing Diary. Please aim to keep manufactruing doary to 1xA3 where possible. Highlight H&S and quality control measures specifically. Outline processes, you only need to write a sentence per processes, be concise. 

3. Update bibliography 

4. Only once you have completed the above can you then work on any practical aspects, you will not have workshop access so think about any templates you need to make on CAD ready for next week. Please check with Miss Karin before you start practical that all other aspects are up to date.
