As discussed in today’s lesson (sorry Fran you missed this) we are going to spend the next two weeks on NEA to get Final Design completed so we can take cutting lists and start ordering materials for you. You will need to complete the following; 

Final design drawing- annotations and dimensions

Final design - modelling/sampling , anything you need to test/ trial needs to be completed. Some of you may want to produce a cardboard model to test with your client (top level) 

CAD Design- you can use Google Sketchup, any CAD apps on the iPad you are comfortable with. You may draw elements on Solidworks. You will need to show front view, plan view, side view and you will produce a component list. 

I will need you to print off your coursework up to date for the 28th and I will perform a provisional assessment and can start writing up your candidate record forms (I cannot give you any marks as you will then not be allowed to make changes to your work) but from your mock papers and this work I will be able to better predict your end result in the summer.
