Date Due

Additional Info
Task 1; Approximately 25-30min
In OneNote; Unit 8 > Lesson 02
On the page '4 - Fusion Exam Qs'
  • Complete both Exam Q examples (7 and 3)
  • Questions are on multiple pages, so zoom out ro ensure you complete all parts
  • Q3 (b) is now 'beyond the GCSE spec' but give it a go, I have adapted it to include the equation so you can attempt the calculation.
  • TYPO IN 3 b ii - The value in the question should read 2.2 x 10^-19 %   (You can leave the answer as a value/decimal, or x100 to leave as a %)
  • Q3 (c) is a old style '6 mark' extended question, but they are very useful for tying everything together.  You SHOULD use sub-headings to structure your answer (e.g. 'importance', 'other benefits', 'difficulties') and CAN use bullet points to organise the points in your answer.

Task 2;  Approximately 10-15min
In OneNote; Unit 8 > Lesson 01
Go to 'HWK - Planetary Orbits - Graphs'
  • Use the table of data on the 3rd last slide in '0 - Universe + Orbits HANDOUTS' - "Planet Properties".
  • Plot the first graph ONLY
  • Orbital Radius (x-axis) against Orbital Speed (y-axis)
  • Use the same units as the table of data in the handouts.

Apologies for only getting this up  and not by 4pm, because we didn't finish stars in the lesson I needed to find other suitable questions to adapt so they fit what we did in class.

I will not look at them until Friday afternoon, so if you only get this finished by Friday lunchtime it isn't the end of the world!
