GPE Equation worksheet
Year 2022-23
Date Due
March 22, 2023
Additional Info
Hi Everyone,
Because I have missed you this week, AND we don't see each other next Friday either, I am conscious that we don't want to fall behind, as we have a few lessons to do after Easter to cover everything that will be in the Y9 exam.
With that in mind, we can do Gravitational Potential Energy and Kinetic Energy in one lesson, but only if you have done a bit of pre-lesson work on GPE.....
For homework, please could you...
- IN THE CONTENT LIBRARY;
- Go to section 04 > lesson 03 > 0 - ... SLIDES
- Open the slides that are as an attachment
- IN YOUR ONENOTES;
- Go to section 04 > lesson 03 > 0 - ... HANDOUTS
- I have made you a special trimmed down version that you can do at home, USING THE SLIDES ATTACHED IN THE CONTENT LIBRARY
- Launch presenter mode on the slides (if you'd prefer to have a go at the questions before revealing the answers in green)
- Complete your handouts for Gravitational Potential (it is only 6 slides)
Once this is done, you should be able to complete the GPE equation worksheet;
section 04 > lesson 03 > "1 - GPE Equation Practice"
Please look at the modelled examples.
If you do not full working out, I will be asking you to recomplete the work.
If you finish, and have time, you could try some of the questions on "2 - Potential Energy Questions" in the same folder on the content library. I have not distributed those, as there is NO expectation for you to do them yet.... If you have done the handouts and the first worksheet, that will be more than enough to set us up nicely for the GPE/KE lesson next lesson.... but if you feel you would like some extra practice, then the 2nd worksheet is there for you.
HAVE A LOVELY EASTER!!!!
