Hi all,

As mentioned yesterday, the theme for this year's Prose Festival is 'coastal edges', with Year 9's focus being on docklands. Your entry should be 250 words in length.

We would also like you to focus on developing an interesting and engaging narrative voice.

Consider: 

- Is your narrator in the story, or a bystander? 
- What information will you reveal to the reader about your narrator, and what will you omit? 
- How does their narration of your story reflect them as a character?

All entries must be submitted via email, in a Word document and must include a title, your name, and your form.

Remember: you do not need to make a start on this until after your session with Cliff McNish, next week.
