Hello Year 9,

Sorry I can't be with you in today's lesson.

You'll find the slides you need in OneNote under (23. 04/03/23 lesson). Instructions are as follows – please complete as much as you can before the end of the lesson:

• Work through the 'Word of the Week' tasks

• Recap what we've read of Act Two with a partner [write your ideas on the slide]

• Compare your 'Motifs Matter' homework with a partner

• Finish Act Two (pp.43–49 ('Mrs Birling is questioned'))

• Work through the selected annotations, noting 3 things for each – Sheila, the Inspector, Birlings (you can use black ink for these)

• Discuss the big revelation at the end of Act 2 and how/why Mrs Birling's interrogation was particularly damaging [write your ideas on the slide]

• Ensure your tracker is up to date

We'll make a start on Act 3 in our next lesson.
