Sorry I can't be with you today. I hope you enjoyed your trip last week!

Today I would like you to do a little more work on the Noble Eightfold path. We are going to answer the question, "It is impossible to live by the Noble Eightfold Path in the modern world?"

1. Upload your presentations on the Eightfold path to the class discussion on Showbie so that you can see them all. 

2. Based on your knowledge of the Eightfold path so far, complete a table of strengths and weaknesses. Think about how the Eightfold path could easily be applied (strengths) and what the issues might be (weaknesses).

2. Using your table to help you, answer the question stated above. This will be marked out of six and should show two arguments in favour  and two arguments against. You must also reach a justified conclusion (back up your viewpoint with clear explanation and evidence)

N.B. Your answer must include reference to SPECIFIC elements of the Eightfold path. 

3. If you manage to do all this in under 40 minutes, spend some time reviewing the work we have done so far on this topic, look over your Hinduism and Buddhism notes. 

Homework: Complete your 6 mark answer for homework if you don't manage to complete it in class.
