I am sorry that I cannot be with you this morning, Please complete the tasks below in relation to Jewish marriage (resources can be found in the content library). 

1.Read through the slides below paying careful attention to key terminology (e.g. Chuppah etc).

Make a list of all the key terms you can see and create a glossary of key terms that relate to Jewish marriage.

2.There is a lot of symbolism in a Jewish wedding ceremony. What symbolism do you notice and why do you think it is important to Jewish people? (write a few sentences/ short paragraph)

3.Do you think symbolism is important in religious ceremonies? (write a few sentences/ short paragraph)

4.Create flash cards with a partner and test each other on the key words in your glossary from task 1.
