TASK 1 (40 minutes): Please can you carry on where we left off last lesson with Human Rights. We have done the Right to Liberty, please can you work in the following groups on the other ones:

Equality before the law: Anya, Claire and Farah

Freedom of religion: Joanna and Gabi

Freedom of opinion: Olivia, Shakthi and Saba

Freedom of speech: Laura, Elise and Tallulah

For your given topic please research areas where this right is not being respected or reasons why it might need to be limited for some reason. Prepare a short presentation for your given topic and be prepared to present to me on Friday.

TASK 2 (40 minutes)

Read through Topic 2 slides (people and groups who work for human rights) 

Spend some time researching Trevor Huddleston and his work in South Africa. Make some notes.

Next research Amnesty International:

1. Who are they?

2. What do they do?

3. What are there most recent and urgent campaigns

4. Make notes on two Amnesty case studies that you could use in a part c or d answer.
