I’m really sorry I can’t be with you this afternoon. Chloe is off school with a sickness bug. 

I believe Mrs Shopland will come to register you in H2 and teach you some more Mary Daly content. After that, please complete the following:

Read the Milton Friedman article on OneNote (this is quite a long and tricky read so just pull out one or two key ideas). If you’re allowed to use AI, you could even use an AI platform to summarise the article for you, just as an interesting exercise! 

After that, spend some time researching the CSR initiatives of various companies. Look at one company each. Find out what they do for CSR and then feedback to each other and notice any similarities and differences. Put your findings in the collaboration space. 

Companies to look at might be: Microsoft, Coca-cola, Nike, HP, Bodyshop, any clothing brand etc. look at companies you use/ are interested in. 

If you have time after this you can start to think about how Kantian ethics and utilitarianism can be applied to issues of CSR. Use the textbook to help you with this. 

If you haven’t had your essay back from me yet, please come and find me in the staff room tomorrow after the big walk. I’ll be around all afternoon. If I don’t see you, I will upload your essay to OneNote so you can see my written feedback.
