- Balancing Chemical Reactions takes lots of practice, but an even bigger road block I see as a teacher is writing chemical equations from words to formulas. If you have missed any of our foundation units (especially naming and identifying types of compounds, please go back and review or come in to the Chemistry Basic Bootcamp that will be offered the week of November 26.
