1. #1 Calendar/Warm Up: Completed Monday, Sept 10 (left side ONLY - 5 facts you know about the periodic table) & Tuesday, Sept 11 Warm Ups - See PPT for details/KEY and pictures of the whiteboard PDF below
2. complete #3 Counting Elements Part B and use the blocks to model the compounds. Draw the compounds as described on the sheet and color appropriately. Be sure to answer all questions.
  • Some hints:
    • One compound is written on SAME line
    • The coefficient tells you how many rows of the same compound that you have
    • Also, see the pdf below for examples
    • The KEY will be posted here after the due date (9/12)
    • If you are struggling with monatomic vs polyatomic, I noticed that enough students were having trouble distinguishing this, therefore, I will try a demo/analogy to clarify this tomorrow. You may skip step 3 if you are still struggling after looking at the info from the warm up found in the pdf below (Whiteboard 9.11)
3. #5 Periodic Trends Webquest/Virtual Lab This is DUE Thursday, Sept 13.
