Date

Additional Info

DUE DATE: Friday, September 22 at end of class
*If you are going out of town early, then your project must be turned in prior to you leaving.*
PURPOSE: To show an understanding of periodic trends by creating a model using a subject that interest you.
Steps to Complete Project:
- Read the Rubric below "Design Your Own Periodic Table Project (Trends) 2018.pdf"
- Read the Rubric a second time and underline/highlight important details.
- Look at the examples posted in the pdf below. These are past student's works from another teacher. These are not perfect posters. These are for ideas and examples ONLY! Do not copy these periodic tables.
- Read the Rubric AGAIN!
- Brainstorm and pick a topic. Keep it simple, but pick something that you enjoy and that is broad enough to make 4 to 5 categories. For example, icecream, fantasy football, Fortnite, make up, netflix series, apple music station, mall stores, candy, animals, countries, sports teams, etc
- Check the Rubric: Does your topic allow you to cover all required items in the required KEY and symbols?
- !!GET TOPIC APPROVED BY COACH DAY!!
- Plan your Layout What will your final project look like? What materials do you need? Where will you get these items from? You have two class periods to work on this project and it is DUE: Friday, Sept 22. What do you need to accomplish on Thursday? Will you need to work at home?
- DO THE PROJECT Organize your idea and double check that you have all items needed that are listed in the rubric.
- Self Grade Is this my best work? Use the check list provided and make sure you have everything needed. What grade do you give yourself?
