ChemQuest9 AAM (Inquiry Building of a weighted average)
PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT: FlipGrid
You are to create a video with your group that shows 2 or more isotopes and describe how to find the average atomic mass.
1) Pick an atom with naturally occurring isotopes. Tell Ms. Day which you chose as to not have repeats with other groups.
2) Draw the Bohr model for each isotope. Include isotope notation, the number of protons, neutrons and electrons for each isotope.
3)Describe how to draw the Bohr model for the most abundant isotope.
3) Show how to calculate the average atomic mass of your element.
