TODAY, We did...
- Warm Up: Discussed the difference between Cl, Ar and K (All have proton increasing by one, but valence electrons vary greatly. Also, all have very different properties
- Chlorine: yellow-green gas, 7 valence electrons, very reactive, tends to form salts
- Argon: noble gas, found in incandescent light bulbs, non-reactive
- Potassium: metal at room temperature, very reactive, forms salts, has 1 valence electron
- PPT NOTES (Fill in titles and missing parts on your PPT note sheet)
- Guided Reading: Fill in the blanks, answer 7 Questions and fill in chart (DUE TOMORROW!!)
- HW: See answers below for most of the 5 sheets
- DUE TOMORROW!!!
