**HW Check: PHeT lab Motion and Forces Basic and Fill in the Blank Notes on Forces
Warm Up: What are Newton’s 3 laws? Give an example of how each are seen your daily life.

Review/Application of Newton’s Three Laws:
DI: Teacher gives a scenario and shows how Newton’s 3 Laws are demonstrated.
GP: Class discussion/PPT of several scenarios of Newton’s 3 Laws
IP: Students work independently and identify and defend Newton’s 3 Laws in given scenarios.
Assessment: Students use their fingers to indicate answer. Teacher assigned select students who were mastering the assignment one scenario to presents/defend their reasoning.
Free Body Diagrams:
DI: Teacher shows an example of each type of force and how to draw free body diagram.
GP: Students take notes of each force and draw a representation using a free body diagram.
IP: Student practices using UNIT IV: Worksheet 1
Wrap Up: Student will be able to identify any of Newton’s 3 Laws given a scenario and draw a free body diagram for the given scenario by identifying the magnitude and direction of everyday forces (wind, tension in ropes, pushes and pulls, weight, etc.)
