Science writing is also known as expository writing.  Expository writing does not include pronouns such as you, they, them, s/he, me, you, I. ➡️. All hypotheses should be an If/then sentence.  They should start with the word If. ➡️. Your independent variable is the specific difference between samples.  It is found in the if part of the hypothesis. ➡️. Your dependent variable is the expected result of that difference in the samples.  It is found in the then part of the hypothesis.
