The assessment covers all of our work so far this year, and will ask you to apply your understanding. You will have access to your classroom notes, however, you will not have access to your iPad or the internet. To check in with your understanding of the content, you can ask yourself the following questions. Measuring in metric.   Can I measure in centimeters? Can I measure in mm? Can I convert between cm and mm? Measuring mass Can I properly adjust a triple beam balance? Can I properly record a measurement? What is the unit of measurement for mass? Measuring volume:  regular and irregular objects When measuring volume, what does “regular” mean? Is there a formula to measure regular objects? What unit of measurement are answers recorded in? What is one way to find the V of irregular objects? Applying physical properties of matter to inform a physical analysis.  Examples of physical properties include: Mass, volume, Color, density, weight, Magnetic attraction, texture, malleability  Am I able to take given evidence and provide a physical analysis of an object by investigating that object's physical properties?
