Additional Info
  • Correct the multi-station el/comd/mixture activity we did in class using a different colored stylus and the answer key posted in the content library; we can talk about any you are unsure about. The last 5 or so have more detail than you need to have. 
  • Design a data table for part B of the lab. Make sure your data table is printed out (at least on your computer) and ready to go, with plenty of space for writing observations. There should be NINE possible combinations (using either 2 or 3 of the 4 chemicals at a time, in a controlled way). You already tried out one possibility before you left class.
  • We will finish the lab in class--a good activity for a Friday!
  • Riddle to ponder....but don't say it out loud until we do our riddle reveal at the end of the day:  What element name describes what I do when a bear chases me? :)
  • Looking ahead -- your element quiz is on Wednesday, so you should be memorizing the ones from the sheet a little bit at a time.
