2021-2022

Chemistry (A)

Date Due

Oct. 22, 2021

Additional Info
  • Please bring with you 3 things for tie dyeing (and don't wear your best clothes):
  • 1) a BIG NEWSPAPER to use for absorbing the excess dye -- like a Sunday paper or couple of other newspapers from during the week
  • 2) a strong GALLON sized zip-lock bag, to hold your project
  • 3) 2 plastic bags (such as Kroger bags) to place the project inside and carry home, in case it leaks out of the zip-lock
  • hectoMOLE DAY is next Monday -- Think about what you might want to do! (Optional extra credit for 2nd quarter...)
  • Complete the Mole Practice Worksheet in OneNote as explained in class. You should do a minimum of 7 exercises in addition to question 1.  Remember that you use the VALUES you determined in Q. 1 to answer the remaining questions (if they involve masses). Be sure to show work, using the factor label method. Big hint:  use the margins to write down what ONE MOLE would equal, before you try to solve the problems. It helps so much!
