Chem - Boyle's Law Lab Write-Up

2021-2022

Chemistry (A)

Date Due

April 8, 2022

Additional Info
  • Here are the instructions for Friday's write up:
  • 2 graphs (one from the main part, one from the extension), with a sentence underneath each about what the graph and/or its shape indicates. What can we conclude from the shape of the graph?
  • a data table, filled in from the numbers generated on the computer during the lab (you may just fill in the lab sheet) -- including the two columns involving computation  (be sure to watch for correct sig figs)
  • questions 1-10 answered in complete sentences on separate paper -- NOT SQUEEZED into the question area!, with reference to specific data from the lab. As an example, a good answer might begin with something like: "When the volume is halved from 10.0 mL to 5.0 mL, the pressure......., from .....KPa  to ...... KPa"
  • For Qs 8 and 9, be sure to clarify whether PxV or P/V produces the most reliable constant "k"
  • With any remaining time, continue reading Ch. 11
