  • You should have the Beer's Law Lab around 3/4 completed in your lab notebook.  
  • My suggested approach is first that you re-read the background information on the loose 1-page handout (regarding spectroscopy, etc.) AND the stapled handout. Often, you understand a lab much better after you've actually DONE it.
  • Then, complete most of the sections on the write-up sheet handout, including I. Objective, II. Procedure, III. Pre-Lab Qs; IV Data Table and Observations; V. (skip graph for now) VI. Questions/Calculations -- you should be able to answer Q. 1-5 at this point.
  • In class, we will complete the graph of your data (probably using Excel) and print it out, so that you can finish the last few questions for Monday or Tuesday--along with doing a textbook assignment.
  • Continue plowing through Chapter 12 (Kinetics) in the textbook.
