- Read the article that will be posted by Saturday, as part of our ongoing effort to understand the chemistry of everyday life. It’s about waterproof clothing worn by many of us who do outdoor sports or work outdoors—including firefighters.
- With remaining time, begin delving into Chapter 3 in your textbook. You should read it in the careful way we’ve discussed—“pre-reading” the big titles and subtitles and thinking of questions that come up in your mind; studying the photos, margin notes, and diagrams; and finally, reading the text, taking notes, and trying the practice problems as you go.
- We will be finishing up your chromatography lab and beginning our journey into chapter 3 with a class activity.
