  • Complete Ch. 14 Set 4, and make sure all 4 sets are corrected with the key, using a different colored stylus for corrections.
  • We will have a QUIZ on Ch.14 topics, excluding 14.9 and 14.10 on acid structure and properties of oxides. Everything else in Ch. 14 is fair game, including bold-faced terms and problems similar to homework and class exercises.
  • We will be moving into Chapter 15 on buffers and titrations, by completing a POGIL activity on buffers and taking some notes.
  • Ideally, I would like you to turn in the test corrections for the Ch. 13/16 Test we took a week ago. Realistically, if you need to turn it in after Spring Break, I can accept it then, too.
  • DON'T FORGET that the National Chemistry Olympiad Competition is after school TOMORROW, 3/15, from 3:30-5:20 pm (you are allowed to take as long as 110 minutes to answer 60 multiple choice Qs, but you may leave when finished). Remember that the best way to prepare is to take practice tests to find out what you need to study or review!
