  • Ch. 2 Set one should be completed in OneNote: pp. 77-78 #71 a-d, #72 a-d, #75-77, 83 (all), 85f,l,m, 86g,h,i, 87b,d,e, 88 (all), and 95 c-g (try to internalize the nicknames and formulas) This is the first of a two-part assignment.
  • Correct the Indium Bromide problem, if you received a check minus. 
  • We will finish covering naming and formula-writing in class on Tuesday -- in preparation for Friday's quiz. Be sure to stay sharp on your ion symbols and charges!
  • There is also a screencast on Naming and formula-writing (except for acid naming) in the Chapter 2 Resources of the Content Library.
  • In class, we will discuss your earlier reading from "The Mighty Atom" as a way to approach the other topics in Ch. 2.  Make sure your textbook reading from Chapter 2 is complete. Much of it should be familiar to you.
