  • Finish the chromatography lab in your lab notebook, following instructions in Chapter 4 OneNote homework. I am expecting you to need a hand with Qs 1-3 in the follow up Qs, and I will spend 5 minutes at the start of study hall on Thursday to explain some things, esp. regarding Qs 1 and 3. You should be able to answer Q. 2 on your own. You should look up the following terms to help your understanding:  ion-dipole forces, dipole-dipole forces, London dispersion forces, and Hydrogen-bonding.  Chapter 10.1 in your textbook can help with 3 of the 4 items.
  • Test corrections should be completed and ready to turn in, on separate paper, for the Chapter 2-3 test.
  • We will be finishing up Chapter 4 on "redox" and learning some more complex net ionic equation-writing.
  • Remind me to explain what we are doing to celebrate Mole Day next week!
