  •  We are starting Chapter 4, which I consider an "eclectic" chapter, dipping into many different topics that will be threaded through the year. It lays the groundwork for important concepts--some of which may be new and some of which may be review.  
  • Read Chapter 4 in the textbook slowly, after first looking at the main titles and subtitles, looking at the pictures and reading the captions, etc.;  Take your own notes.
  • We will be continuing with our very messy gravimetric analysis lab -- using vacuum filtration to capture your silver chloride precipitate. You will have a good chunk of lab time today.
