  • Read the article about Pasteur's serendipitous discovery and then the chilling article about "thalidomide" by Roald Hoffman--followed by a short article about the responsibility of scientists. These are posted in your OneNote homework as a single packet. They relate directly to our activity on optical isomers! 
  • Finish the organic worksheet - 2 pages, 2-sided - posted in the homework section of OneNote -- if we didn't already finish it in class. Before completing the worksheet, you will need to REVIEW the functional groups by studying the packet you were given and/or Chapter 22. "Aromatic" means anything with a benzene ring. For any of them that you can, try to NAME them as well as identify the type of functional group..
  • Finally - make sure you have the necessary materials on hand to do the Ice Cream Lab DURING OUR LAB BELL! It is also found in your OneNote homework area for Post AP.
  • We will end the year with a short slide show while you eat your ice cream. :)
