- Read sections 6.1-6.4, through page 186.
- Do page 167 #1-5, p.179 #4-5, p.184 #1-5, p.186 #1-4.
- Our goal in class will be to make sure you have "internalized" the 4 main types of solids and their characteristics --- ionic, molecular, metallic (from your reading), and a fourth called "network covalent"
- If we have time, will will go over "resonance" as well and we will work on learning the 5 shapes.
- As time allows, you should be starting to work on your exam review little by little, one section at a time --- by going over the exam review sheet sent out before Thanksgiving and posted on OneNote in the mid-term exam review section.
